Scorpion alarms were fitted to early generation 3 cars,and we're prone to troubles from day one including oversensitivity.some were repaired,somewere replaced and some were disconnected.If your alarm doesn't work disconnection could well be the reason and you would be unwise to reconnect.....look here to identify your alarm

Always check them carefully as repair is uneconomic.....badly bodged ones can lead to electrical faults with central locking
