Bonnet doesn't lock down tight can it be adjusted, I have twiddled with the rubbers but to no avail

solved catch was too high lowered and checked all a ok now

Think I'm having the same issue, the bonnet closes and locks but if you wiggle the bonnet lip there is a knock. What exactly did you do to solve it?

what i did first was screw the 2 adjuster rubbers all the way in(if you dont you could find to much tension on the bonnet cable and you not be able to open it)
i then loosend the 4 bolts on the catch mechanism and dropped it as low as it would go
tightened the bolts and shut the bonnet
it should still rattle
then open the bonnet and adjust the rubbers a bit at a time until you bonnet sits nice and tight (but not over tight)
