Hi all, I'm Joseph and I own a black Siii and it's the most loved car I've ever owned. I bought it cheap as it had been left untouched long enough for the rust to begin to take hold. Thanks to lockdown, it's now in much better shape, both mechanically and cosmetically, although the project is likely to never end.
Mechanically, I've replaced and programmed the BCM, replaced various calipers and brakes as well as hoses and fluids etc. Styling wise, I've pained the wheels, plasti dipped the chrome, vinyl wrapped various interior trim and spray painted the surfaces that vinyl won't stick to. I also replaced the head unit with a double din that connects to an OBD2 device to give me the car info on the head unit. I didn't have a clue how to do any of this and just picked it up as I went along, special thanks to advice posted on this forum, especially the links to Coupe maintenance manuals, without which, I'd still be a monkey with a wrench.
So that's me and my beloved Coupe. Thanks for reading and feel free to ask any questions or provide any suggestions for the project.
