Hello everyone
Picked up my 2006 '55 plate 2.0 se late last week, to be used as a second car
Initial thoughts after an initial 300 miles, cabin is quite tight for headroom, even though I am only 5'10"
Build quality is good, everything works, not too many rattles, ride quality although firm, is actually better than my other car (Fiat 500)
Economy wise, I saw 38.2mpg, however, its only been used for my work commute, 100miles a day, consisting of motorway, dual carriageway an NSL A roads, with very little traffic on the way to work (it is 6am and I am going against the traffic flow), coming home is heavier traffic wise
So far, I have given the car a full, but, quick detail, cleaned and conditioned the leather and fitted a k&n panel filter

Re: Hello from Hertfordshire
Howdy. Just in case you haven't noticed, there's a wheel on the outside of the seat base that raises/lowers the seat. I'm 6 ft and I get by.
No Dougal! This one is small, but that one is far away. Small. FAR away!

Re: Hello from Hertfordshire
Hi, thanks for the welcome
I am from Welwyn Garden City, Herts
I have already adjusted the seat down to its lowest position.............Ill get used to the seat height in due course
Looking at the many online videos of Ace Cafe meetings, its not my sort of meet venue, as it seems total carnage on the locals roads

Our ace cafe meets are nothing like the ones you see on you tube and if anyone from this club acted like that at a meet they wouldn’t be welcome back. For our 2018 meets we’ve also joined forces with herts classic car club and we have 7 classics coming to the first meet. Our meets are purely static and it’s a great chance to meet other members and see their cars
