Re: NEWBIE
Thank you for the warm welcome; I'm a lady petrol head and I spend most of my time with cars as I work within the motorsport industry but my red beauty is the best car.

Re: NEWBIE
Pity Hyundai didn't go ahead with it as the coup oozes in looks, reliability and level of trim for your money, but does lack in the performance department. yourjprodrive wrote:yes the PZ was one of the cars we worked on at one point there were plans to upgrade the Coupe but Hyundai decided not to go with it but we were the Subaru world rally team and my boss owns Aston Martin Lagonda
Your boss has a lagondler nice but not the prettiest Aston Martin have produced

Re: NEWBIE
hi and welcome to the HCOC hyundai coupe owners club
great to have a female petrol head on the board
yes we have meets local to you, HCOC is well known for having the biggest meets in the UK, our national meets are usually held in Birmingham so that should be good for you, we do have one dated in for November, check out the meets section for details

Re: NEWBIE
Being a lady petrol head is unusual and my family think I'm mad but I can't think of anything better than spending my time with cars I'm lucky with my job every year I go to Le Mans for the 24hr race and other events in this country...working not watching but its brilliant
It was a shame they didn't go ahead with the upgrades when you see what Prodrive did to lots of other cars but then Hyundai didn't always make good decisions I use to work for the rally team the Accent was a good car and they pulled out of that as well just when things were going well....
Thank for the info Craig and I suppose Birmingham would be the nearest to me but if you ever want a meet at Prodrive just let me know.
Sorry Sean no cheap part for Scoobies they had a big sale a few months ago and sold what was left to Subaru UK.
