Hi all

I've recently picked up a black '06 gen 3.5, with 53k on the clock. It's my new daily drive as I have a Skyline that I don't want to use daily. I've had FTOs for a few years as dailys but I just fancied something different. Many years ago I did have a black gen 1, 1.6l, which I really liked. It's a little tappety in the morning but I'm use to that with the FTOs. I'll treat it to some new oil soon. It is fully serviced and the oil looks good but I don't know what's currently in it.

Anyway, I'm glad to have signed up, and I'm hoping to stick around if no one minds!

Cheers,
Ian.

Hi there thanks very much all! Sorry I haven't been back. I've just bought an OEM oil filter from my local dealership and I'll pop some Castrol GTX 10w40 semi in it this week for a treat. Loving it so far, drives smooth and picks up well. Think I need to have a look around at the member vehicles here!

Welcome.
I had a 94 M FTO GR 4 speed auto in steel silver. I did like that car and fitted a nice custom 'Dragon Fire' back box and Apexi induction kit. Lovely V6 sound.
I guess with the tappet sound you had a FTO GPX Mivec as they had adjustable tappets.

What Skyline do you have? I still love the original Godzilla R32 V-Spec. Insane money nowadays.....as are Toyota Supra TT6's.
