the engine doesn't use any petrol to keep it running as the wheels going round keeps the engine turning, whereas idle in neutral uses fuel to keep going. I did not know that. you're better off keeping it in gear to be honest... fuel wise, it's minimal, but the engine doesn't use any petrol to keep it running as the wheels going round keeps the engine turning, whereas idle in neutral uses fuel to keep going. Don't forget that people don't really buy cars this time of year, so prices are lower anyway. Hello & welcome to the club! You're definitely in the right place. Haynes didn't do a manual, but at home (working, boo) I have a bookmark for a cracking site with loads and loads of technical/electrical/ how-to stuff for the Coupe. No doubt someone will be along before I get back with a link.
