Re: Rear Anti Roll Bar Bushes
I've always noticed the BRD ones come with brackets - howcome? When I replaced my bushes (admittedly not BRD) there was nothing about the original brackets that made me think they'd (ever) need replacing.

Re: Looking for insurance for my SIII
I was only messing around (hence the wink), please don't take it personally.stormrider wrote:@NJNewton, this is something to discuss. To me UK drivers are very danger drivers in general.
But that does not apply to everyone.
Anyway this post is for insurance quote and not driving abilities.
Cheers

Re: Looking for insurance for my SIII
I've been to Greece many a time and would imagine that anyone that is used to driving there is likely to be considered something of a high risk on UK roads! ;-)

Gotcha. I misunderstood what you said and thought he was sending the ECU itself off elsewhere. (Having re-read your post I'm not sure how I reached this conclusion)

Re: REMAP NOW AVAILABLE
Have you considered having a dyno done before and after so you can measure the delta? Given the wider benefit for club members I'd be up for contributing financially to facilitate this - perhaps others might also?

This is great news! Perseverance (not to mention talent!) has obviously paid off!
Do you have any before/after dyno graphs that could be shared?

Re: SIII Engine being Dismantled
Quite right too! You ought to start your auctions at a higher starting price (the minimum you'd sell for) as you might only get one person willing to buy at any one time. To get those that absolutely must have it yesterday a healthy buy-it-now price can pay dividends too.

It sounds like I was exactly your target market - I am always on the lookout for bargain spares for 'just in case' moments or testing.

Look also on the top of the engine (can't remember where exactly now) for a wax-filled connector with nothing plugged into it - this connects directly to the fuel pump for manual priming.

Can you take some more photos around that area? Particularly below and to the right of the ignition switch area.

Re: Hello I'm Toni got my first f2 evo coupe
It can vary between vehicles but on the Evo it is likely to be below and to the right of the steering wheel/column/ignition and bolted directly to metal support structure. If it's not there on yours it'll be in a cluster down near the ECU. I've got spares if you need them but to be honest they are j...

That's a nice spread of parts there! Like a buffet for car buffs. Looking at what's left it's very tempting but I don't think it overlaps enough with my 'wants' list to justify the drive up (and down!). I will of course regret this when my window motors, indicator stalk and tweeters all fail in unis...
